We need short, mid and long term solutions to fix the flooding in Pointe Claire. This includes
better storm water management, fixing the sewer system, and working with the Montreal council and provincial
government to help fund these projects. In the short term, we need to preserve our green spaces, make
more pumps available and pause overdevelopment until we have a plan in place.
Seniors Community Outreach
A community outreach program to help our seniors with shoveling, raking, minor home repairs, errands and
companionship if needed. This will also help connect the youth of Pointe Claire with our seniors.
New Sports Facility
Pointe Claire needs to either expand or create a new sports facility for Pointe Claire, including an
indoor soccer space. 1000's of kids and their parents need a place to play year round, not just in the few
short months of summer.
Protect our Forests and green spaces
Important not just for the environment, but also a critical component to help slow down and prevent flooding.
Human scale development
Lets say No to being the "Downtown of the West Island", and say Yes to remaining Pointe Claire. Let's revitalize
Valois village with more businesses, restaurants and cafes, but keep the human scale. No high rises, no 10+ story buildings.
